President's Message

Welcome to the website of the San Diego Chapter of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP). Our chapter is small in number of members but we are mighty in activities and professionalism. Our organization aims to provide educational opportunities to planner members from federal, state, county and local governments, as well as suppliers of meeting services and facilities.

Please take the time to look around our website – and take a look at San Diego for your next function. San Diego may no longer be the small town it once was, but it is still mighty – and a great place to hold your next conference, reunion, or meeting.

I also would like to invite you to attend one of our monthly meetings so you can see for yourself what the San Diego Chapter of SGMP has to offer you. We look forward to seeing you. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me or any other board member.
